One life
One love
Greatest gifts sent from above…
When an Angel on the ground caught another falling down…
Never taking
Only giving
Of all that could be found.
Never needing
Always beating
The foes that faced you down
Through a childhood oh so fleeting
Where the memories still abound!
One there
For the other three
In eternity, no small meeting!
When a child born of another
Is a daughter,
And you the mother!
No one can replace The Angels on the ground!
For no soul is forsaken as long as they're around…
The ones who have more love,
Than the hearth fire can withstand
Leaving more than mere impression
Of a fire pit in the sand.
For their embers go out
Lighting up this world…
With the same light
The only light
Of the greatest gift from above!
For my mother,
