One Life
One Life~One Love~
Greatest gifts sent from above~
When an angel on the ground,
caught another falling down...
Never Taking~ Only Giving~
Of all that could be found.
Never needing~Always Beating~
The foes that faced you down!
One There~For the other There~
In eternity, no small meeting!
When a child of another, is a daughter~
And you the mother!
No one can replace the angels on the ground,
For no soul is forsaken as long as they're around...
The ones who have more love,
than the hearth fires can withstand!
Leaving more than mere impressions of a fire pit in the sand...
For their embers go out~Lighting up this world...
With the same light~The only light~
Of the greatest gift from above!
