Dance of a Butterfly
Like a butterfly
flying gracefully,
I too hear the music
that she dances to
while she soars ever so freely
high above the clouds
in the warmth of the sunshine
allowing her to be at peace
with herself
and finally
once again
with God

A Season Of Promise
As with every Autumn storm
this too shall pass
as the Winter gently kisses goodnight
the flood of untamed emotions
caused by a broken dream
Promising that in the new season
light showers
of an awaken heart
will fall
Melting away that which was frozen
Bringing back to life
what was thought destined
to be washed away forever
But all along...
was only silently hiding
in the shelter of thyself
Waiting to emerge unto the light
and grow with the warmth of Spring
March 2003....For Mark A. Morefield I lOVE YOU BEST FRIEND!!!!

Indigo Mist
Wandering through
the indigo mist
Tired, scared
cold and alone
I quietly rest
in the shadows
created only
by my fears
Forever searching
the distant lights
with hope
that yours
will someday
shine again
Guiding me back
into your heart
For Mark Andrew Morefield Aug.2002 You left me under OUR Indigo Stars

Moon Light
Is the moon too bright
when you close your eyes at night?
Does it blind you
from what I know is reality?
Or do you see the beauty
and feel the peace as I do?
The moon in her full radiance
keeping me safe,
hugging me gently
with her soft lunar glow
Surrounding me
Lighting my way
down the familiar roads
of my dreams
that I have traveled
in distant lives
then and now
with you.

Songs from the Past
The breeze blows lightly
as the seasons pass on
Quietly singing
an Unforgettable love song
A message of truth
sent from a distant growing light
Whispers ever so softly to her heart
"Hold onto to the night"
Wandering in time
the Unicorn silently weeps
Moonlight Sonata is heard
faintly in the gentle breeze
Warm memories embrace her
though it's not nearly enough
she longs for the touch
of her Endless Love

The Ostrich
Your actions
tend to show
what your words
try to hide
Yet...your eyes
those beautiful
magical eyes
reveal your soul
Which always speaks
"The Truth"

Indigo Stars
Time Stops
As you take me higher
than the universe
Soaring into a sacred dimension
created only by us
The songs of your heart fill mine
with an unconditional love
once alive only in my dreams
Slowly our souls intertwine
as we dance passionately
among OUR INDIGO STARS
Together we melt into OUR REALITY
where we become one in each other.

New Haven Road
Chaotic distress
arises within
Peace and Serenity
are nothing but
a memory
of a time
Not so long ago
Dramatic scenes
play vividly
as each hour passes
I silently cry
wishing I'd awake
from this nightmare

The Worlds Within New Haven
I search for the door
that leads the way out
of the world inwhich I entered
Only to find that behind each one
yet another world exisits within the last
Deeper and Deeper I travel
down a darkened passage
Spinning in circles
Longing to remember
which direction I came from
The light that once lit my way
no longer shines in the distance
Leaving me confused and afraid
questioning if the light ever really exisited at all

The Mighty King of New Haven
I see you hiding behind the screen
Shaded by the pain
that darkens your heart
Afraid of shining
once again
you quietly take hold
of the magical crystal wand
As it's enchanting beauty
leads you down
a crystalized road
Numbing your pain
but only for now

The Journey
When you look in my eyes
do you remember me?
Open the shade
that darkens your memory
and let the light pour in
So that you may see
with your heart
"The journey
we have not yet
began to finish"

Two Entities
Two entities divided
Many life times ago
Searching through the dimensions
Looking for the other lost soul
Some lives are filled with happiness
A few are filled with pain
Always knowing in their hearts
They'll find each other again
They are never quite complete
This they know and feel
Forever searching differents eyes
For what they once knew was real
Their time has come to reunite
Their search is finally over
Two entities divided life times ago
Are whole once again in each other
